Lori Lozinski is a Producer/Director/Writer based in Vancouver that focuses on female narratives.

In 2015, Lori had her successful directorial stage debut with The Play About Edmonton and followed that up with Water Punch.  She has several projects in development that she is writing & directing for the stage and screen including Kill Me, Bad Bitches, The Road, The Last Weekend and TAME.

Lori Produced the feature film Once There Was a Winter written & directed by Ana Valine (VIFF 2017) and Executive Produced Never Steady, Never Still written & directed by Kathleen Hepburn starring Shirley Henderson (2017 TIFF). She recently produced the CSA nominated CBC Kids series Scout and the Gumboot Kids that is a combination of stop motion, illustration and live action. In 2014, she produced the short film Intemperance, and Executive Produced the short documentary Bihttos that was selected as a TIFF Top Ten Short Film.  Past credits include Season 1 of the 26-episode animated series, Packages from Planet X for DHX Media, Disney XD and Teletoon; Season 1 of the 13-part lifestyle series Eat St. for The Food Network, the live action feature film Sheltered Life and the 13-part animated series PUCCA for Studio B Productions and Jetix UK. In 2006, she Associate Produced the TV Movie LUNA: Spirit of the Whale for CTV, APTN and Peace Arch Entertainment and the feature length drama The Score, a musical adaptation of the award-winning play by Vancouver's Electric Company Theatre for CBC’s Opening Night.

Lori has also produced a number of short films including most notably Savage directed by Lisa Jackson that won the 2010 Genie Award; My Old Man directed by Alex Levine, an adaptation from a Charles Bukowski poem that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival; and Dirty Dog directed by Trent Carlson that was part of the Art of Seduction series that won best mobile content at the 2007 Banff World Television Festival.

She is an alumnus of Norman Jewison’s Canadian Film Centre, Trans Atlantic Partners, Women In The Director’s Chair and the Rotterdam Lab.  Lori continues to create and develop feature films, television, and new media content through her company Violator Films Inc.
